Blade: Damascus Steel, 416 Layers
1095 and 15N20 are welded and folded to 416 layers, then ground and etched so the pattern reads the full length. The nickel in the 15N20 keeps the bright lines bright. Hardened to 55 to 60 HRC.
Handle: Olive Wood
Olive is dense, oily and close grained, so it takes a wet kitchen better than most timbers. The grain runs differently on all five, so no two handles match.
