Sami blades forges this 5 piece set by hand, from an 8 inch chef knife down to a 4.5 inch paring knife, with a 6.5 inch cleaver for the work the others cannot do. The whole set rolls into a leather case, so it travels without the edges touching.
Blade: Damascus Steel, Full Tang
High and low carbon steels are folded and forged together, then ground and etched so the pattern reads the full length. The tang runs from the tip through to the butt, which is where the balance comes from and why the handle cannot work loose.
